What We Do
Happy Hangers program is set up to provide individuals with free professional interview clothing. This is a non-profit program designed to support clients entering the workforce. The goal is to help clients achieve economic independence. Regardless of the social and economic background, the program is open to all women and men in the community. Our volunteers will work with a client to help choose an interview outfit.
Clients are referred to the program by local area agencies and organizations. We are working with agencies across Wapello county to reach as many people as possible At the job fair held by Iowa Works in September 2025, volunteers handed out 73 vouchers to men and women. There is a great need in the community to assist individuals with the right type of clothing needed to attend an interview. After a client gets a job, they will need proper work clothing. We are here to help with their journey
Our Mision
We rise by lifting others in the community. Every individual has the right to realize their full potential and achieve financial independence.
