What it Is: A process used to help people grow, change, cope, and recover from life circumstances. The aim is to help people achieve their view of a fulfilling life.

Types of Counseling & Therapy include:

  • Individual (Pre-school through Adult) Therapy
  • Couples/Relational Counseling
  • Marital Enrichment Therapy
  • Family Counseling
  • Crisis Counseling
  • Group Counseling

Where: The cities of  Fairfield, Mount Pleasant, Ottumwa, Oskaloosa

How it Works: A plan of care, or treatment plan, is specifically designed with each person based on individual strengths and needs. The plan establishes goals while detailing appropriate treatment and services to meet the individuals’ needs. Services are provided by licensed mental health professionals. Our therapists come from varied theoretical backgrounds and each one offers an integrative and holistic approach to therapy. Symptoms or signs that services may be beneficial include:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety/Stress/Worry
  • PTSD
  • Anger
  • Grief/Loss/Bereavement
  • Job Stress or Loss
  • Current or Past Trauma (i.e. Physical, Emotional or Sexual Abuse)
  • Domestic Violence
  • Marital/Relationship/Family Issues
  • Military/Deployment Issues
  • Self-Esteem
  • Eating Disorders
