Substance Use Disorder Services (SUD)

Outpatient Treatment

At First Resources Corp. we offer an array of adult outpatient treatment services.

Evaluation: Evaluations are conducted by our counselors to determine level of care needed and provides an effective, personalized treatment plan. Walk-in Evaluations are every Wednesday, 12pm-3pm, located at: 1010 E. Williams St. Ottumwa, IA 52501

Extended Outpatient (EOP): EOP is designed for individuals who are believed to have a firm grasp of the basic concepts of staying sober, working through individual roadblocks, and requiring less structure to maintain sobriety. EOP is individualized and lasts a minimum of six weeks.

​

Intensive Outpatient (IOP): IOP is designed for individuals experiencing a history of frequent relapse from drugs and alcohol. IOP emphasized education interventions so that individuals can learn social, physical, and emotional effects of drugs and alcohol. Individuals receive three group sessions per week lasting three hours each, and a weekly individual session last one hour. The during of IOP is eight to twelve weeks.

Drug Testing: Available for preventative and continued care.

Residential Treatment

At First Resources Corp. we operate two adult Residential Treatment facilities.

​

Both Residential Treatment programs offer different intensity of treatment, up to 120 days. Individuals participate in scheduled programming such as community groups, 12-step meetings, and relapse prevention. Individuals use an itinerary to come and go from the facility, work or volunteer in the community, and participate in treatment.

​

Hope House: Hope House works closely with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and focuses on keeping the family together while the parent(s) receives treatment. Parents can reside with their children or have regular visits with their children within this facility.

​

Oak Meadow: Oak Meadow only admits the individual to this facility.​
