Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS)

This service is designed to assist children, and their families to achieve a better grasp on behaviors to function more appropriately at home, school, and in the community. A referral must be made by a mental health professional, and the child must have a mental health diagnosis. A BHIS Provider will meet weekly with the child or the child and their family to work on improving behaviors by identifying what may trigger the child, and learn new healthy coping skills to modify the behaviors.
